Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Brnik) is a small, easy-to-navigate airport. If you're arriving here for the first time, here's exactly what to expect from landing to getting into your transfer.
After landing at Brnik, you will go through passport control (for non-Schengen flights) and then collect your baggage at the single baggage carousel. The airport is compact — from landing to exiting the arrivals hall typically takes 20–40 minutes for international flights with passport control, and 10–20 minutes for Schengen flights.
When you exit the arrivals hall with your luggage, simply call your driver. We share the driver's name, contact number and vehicle licence plate in advance so you can reach them immediately. Your driver will pull up to the drop-off zone in front of the terminal within 2 minutes. There is no need to walk to a car park or wait at a rank — the driver comes to you.
Please provide your flight number when booking. If your flight is delayed, contact us so we can review the pickup arrangements. Your driver will be at the terminal at the confirmed time.
Yes. If you prefer, we can arrange a meet & greet inside the terminal with a name board — useful for corporate transfers or if you're collecting clients. This is available on request. For most passengers, calling the driver on exit is faster and equally simple.
From Ljubljana Airport, private taxi and transfer services cover destinations across Slovenia, Italy, Austria and Croatia. Popular transfers from the airport include Ljubljana city centre, Bled, Lake Bohinj, Postojna Cave, Portorož and Zagreb.
