Venice is accessible from Ljubljana Airport by private car via the A4 motorway through Trieste and Mestre. We serve all Venice destinations: Mestre (where most accommodation is), Piazzale Roma (the gateway to the car-free island), Santa Lucia train station, and Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) for onward connections. Please note that the Venice island itself is car-free — we drop you at Piazzale Roma, from where water taxis and vaporetti depart.
Venice is also a major departure point for cruise ships. If you need a connection to the Venice cruise terminal (Marittima), we can arrange a drop-off there as well.
We also serve Treviso Airport (TSF) — a popular alternative to Venice for Ryanair flights. Let us know which airport you need when booking.
We pick you up from Venice, Mestre, or either Venice airport and drive you to Ljubljana Airport. A popular return route — book in advance to secure your vehicle.
Send InquirySend EmailVenice is one of the most visited cities in Italy, drawing millions of travellers each year from across Europe and beyond. For visitors travelling between Italy and Slovenia, private car and van transfers are a practical way to move between Venice, Ljubljana Airport (Brnik), and destinations across Slovenia — without the complexity of trains, bus connections or shared transport.
We organise private transfers in both directions between Venice and Slovenia. From Ljubljana Airport to Venice and Venice to Ljubljana Airport, the route follows the A4 motorway through Trieste, covering approximately 245 km. We also arrange transfers between Venice and Ljubljana city, as well as between Venice and Lake Bled, Venice and Bohinj, and Venice and Kranjska Gora. Transfers from Bled to Venice and Venice to Bled, Bohinj to Venice and Venice to Bohinj, and Kranjska Gora to Venice and Venice to Kranjska Gora are all available on request.
We also cover the Slovenian Adriatic coast in both directions. Transfers between Venice and Portorož, Venice and Piran, Venice and Koper, and Venice and Izola are available for individuals, families and groups. Whether you are travelling from Portorož to Venice, Venice to Portorož, Piran to Venice or Venice to Piran, we arrange private vehicles for all routes. All transfers are private — vehicle reserved for your group only.
We arrange private transfers on all major routes between Venice and Slovenia — for solo travellers, couples, families and groups. Vehicles range from standard cars to vans for passengers with larger luggage or more seats required.
For travellers arriving at Ljubljana Airport and continuing to Venice, or arriving in Venice and heading to Slovenia, we cover the full journey by private vehicle. For those travelling via Treviso Airport instead of Venice Marco Polo, we cover that route as well. The hotel transfers page lists additional accommodation pickup options across Slovenia.
The most common Venice transfer requests involve Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) — either arriving and continuing on to Slovenia, or departing from Slovenia to catch a flight at Marco Polo. We also handle transfers to and from Treviso Airport (TSF), which serves low-cost carriers and is located north-east of Venice city. Both airports can be combined — for example, arriving at Treviso and returning from Marco Polo, or the reverse.
Hotel pickups and drop-offs in the Venice area are arranged based on the accessible meeting location. The Venice island itself is pedestrian-only and vehicles cannot enter. Pickups and drop-offs in the historic centre are arranged at Piazzale Roma — the nearest accessible point by road. From there, passengers can travel onward by water taxi or vaporetto. For hotels in Mestre or on the mainland, standard vehicle pickup and drop-off at the hotel entrance is available.
We also arrange transfers to and from the Venice cruise terminals (Marittima, San Basilio). Cruise passengers arriving in Venice who need transport to Ljubljana Airport, Lake Bled, Portorož or other Slovenian destinations can arrange a private transfer from the terminal or an agreed accessible pickup location. Return transfers from Slovenia to Venice cruise terminals are available in the same way.
Beyond airports and cruise terminals, we cover business travel between Venice and Ljubljana, holiday travel to Slovenian lakes and ski resorts, and family travel requiring extra luggage space or child seats. For groups with more passengers or luggage, van transfers are available on request.
